The food is terrific and service very good , the waiters are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is good , very small restaurant so you feel as if you are at the dinner table. Try the luncheon special. While it is limited menu you get a full course dinner for $16. 00 plus tax and tip. Drinks separate.. Of course full menu is available. You can also just order pizza or hero's .

You can buy quarts of their vodka sauce which is great to be able to make lots of penne vodka at home. Updating to four stars. Unfortunately I find their pizza a bit flavorless and underwhelming.

I may not be Italian, but if you were born in The Bronx OR grew up in The Bronx 30-40 years ago, you damn well HAVE to know your pizza and where to go for that mom-&-pop, old-school slice. And no, just because you moved here in the last 5-10 years does not make you a full-fledge Bronxite either! This is straight up pizza: nothing fancy like those charred, crust spots- this is more of a golden touch. And when it's all done, your slice is propped on a paper plate and you call it a day. My initial plan was to meet my friend at our favorite Cafe in Castle Hill- but since they close Mondays, we decided on a different plan altogether and come here since I was off for Juneteenth. The day was glorious to begin with and decided on outside seating. The large planters+plants on designated areas worked fine to create a division from the sidewalk eating area to the main restaurant. The brick wall(?) facade(?) extend from entrance to the back and branded with a large picture frame on one side. Pizza counter and ovens, are on the opposite side. My friend went for some heft and decided on a Sicilian and regular slice. I, had the Grandma Slice with super delicate strips of basil and a regular slice as well. The dough in their regular slice is neither thick nor thin. Let's just say it's a regular slice with an almost-perfect 1/2" thickness. I took my slice plain- but if I wanted to pile like veggie toppings, I know I'd be in good hands because the pizza base here is solid and not flimsy. But the cheese you ask? Good amount of cheese that didn't weigh down your slice as you folded it. Crust? Maybe it was lil too crisp- but that sucker was good anyway. We both washed our slices and squares with bottle tea and a San Pellegrino Aranciata. And prices were good on top of that. This almighty pizza joint/restaurant has more than pizza: there are sandwiches and the main Italian meal staples. The folks here were pleasant and accommodating. This was a tasty slice fix! If pizza is the thing you truly knead right now, check out this excellent spot.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My childhood home was down the block so walking in brought back many memories for me. I remember this place before it was Addeo's and use to come about once a week so they had some big shoes to fill.. and they did. The service was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted with the most polite smile and welcome. Our waiter checked in on us multiple times and gave us many menu recommendations, which is always appreciated. The overall restaurant was decorated really nicely and was super clean. Loved the modern touches and look of the back restaurant. Let's talk food- started with the eggplant rollatini. One of my favs. It was really good. I liked the sauce and felt it had a sweeter tone to it but I do like a sweet sauce so it worked for me. They also brought out bread which was super delicious. I tasted hints of rosemary right away which went perfect with the olive oil for dipping. My husband tried the squid ink seafood linguini and finished every bite. He loved it. I of course had to try it too & thought it was amazing. I tried the chicken Milanese and am always nervous to order that because I am picky with chicken cutlets (especially bc I'm Italian myself) but they passed the test! The chicken cutlets were cooked perfectly and were the perfect thickness. We tried lava cake for dessert and loved it! Totally r recommend. We'll deff be back to try more of the menu :)

When we were on Yonkers, we often went to Addeo's in Riverdale for their grandpa pies. Now that we're back in the northeast Bronx, hubby found Addeo's in the Bx and we've ordered from them a few times. The pizza is better IMO. We had a couple of issues with the Riverdale loc but they always made up for it. We haven't had any problems with this location and the staff is also very accommodating, as with its sister loc. We ordered through Grubhub for pick-up. Our Little really wanted a pepperoni pizza and I wanted thin crust, so we got the grandpa pie. They don't have a pepperoni addition on the app so we asked them in the comments section to please add the pepperoni and we'll pay when we pick up. Shortly afterwards, we received an update and they auto charged for the additional topping. It was only $4 extra. We arrived within 15 minutes and our order was all set and ready to go. They have ample seating in front of house as well as up the steps in the rear but tonight they had an event going on. They have a great space so I could definitely see us coming here to dine in. They're less than 15 minutes from us which is convenient. The grandpa pie was great. They have the fancy pepperoni which I love! We also ordered some calimari and I love that they serve with both marinara and a spicy roasted pepper aioli. This is our goto for za for sure.
